24 Hours Old

Midwife finally made it down - here are a few photos of the little ones at 24 hours old.

They Have Arrived - BIrth Order

 The midwife was unable to make it in time for the delivery.  It was long distance midwifery, with many calls and text message through out the night.  Wendy and Tibby were on there own, and both did an amazing job.  Tibby, being a first time mom, was a bit freaked out by the first puppy, but figured things out pretty quick.

1st -  2:53 AM - girl (Hot pink Frill ribbon)

2nd - 4:27 AM - girl (Pink Snowflake ribbon)

3rd - 5:31 AM - girl (Green ribbon)

4th - 5:51 Am - BOY!  (Black ribbon - now no ribbon - he's kind of obvious)

5th - 6:18 AM  - girl (Burgundy ribbon)

6th -  6:31 AM - girl (White Ribbon)

7th - 7:34 AM - girl (Purple Ribbon)

8th - 7:42 AM - girl (Yellow Ribbon)

9th - 8:55 AM - girl (Dark Blue Ribbon)


NINE (9) puppies in FIVE (5) hours!  Tibby beat her mother's time record when Pearl had Tibby's litter of 9.  It think she was 8 1/2 hours.

      Tibby is an active, athletic, loving companion  with a wonderful temperament and trainability. She is a therapy dog of her own right, loved and raised by Leirion, my sister's special needs daughter. belongs to my sister, and Leirion, in Guilford, CT, where  the puppies will be born and raised.  Willow (Caccha's Willow of  Theia) came from my sister's first lab Theia. Tibby .is the litter sister to Willow Sunshine (Caccha's Willow Little Miss Sunshine), and Willow Sunshine lives with me in New Hampshire
